We have been making castile Soaps and herbal salves here in Wanaka since 2019. We spent the summer foraging and picking wild herbs around central Otago. We believe in using 100% natural products as chemicals can be harmful. We love using natural remedies to heal the body and our passion is finding ways to use what people would class as a weed, as an essential part of human health.
I started the business because I was looking for an alternative to using steroid or synthetic based ointments and I believe that nature has a better way of healing.
We’re looking forward to coming up with new products in the future and would like to grow our own herbs on a larger scale and open up a small shop in Wanaka.

My name is Lindy Lamb and I am the creator of Dandelion Farm Wanaka. I am a mother of 5 grown children who’ve been a big part of my life. I have always made everything from scratch whether its food or cleaning products.
I’ve had a love for herbs and plants all my life and was raised by a mother who was a pharmacist in the late 40’s and 50’s. She had an amazing herb garden and made many salves and ointments herself.
I have loved herbs and now not only using them in cooking but looking at their wonderful natural and healing abilities on wounds and skin problems.
